The ‘Bots are Coming to the Hershey Centre – Check out a Sport of the Mind in Action!
The Ontario Robotics Championship combines the excitement of sport with the rigors of science and technology. High school students will showcase their design and engineering skills and compete in Canada’s largest high school robotics event at the FIRST® Robotics Competition District Championship in partnership with the City of Mississauga.
The Hershey Centre will host a fleet of the most advanced intelligent robots and robotics teams from across Ontario on Friday, April 14 and Saturday, April 15, 2017. With strict rules and limited resources, the teams have raised funds, designed a team brand, honed teamwork skills, and built and programmed robots to perform prescribed tasks against a field of competitors. Don’t miss the ‘bots in full gear!
